So the idle thumbs and fingers set to work. Searching the rocks for the remnants of the lost IoW ravers, Those who were Forced to scatter the lands... Worshippers of the Living-stones... Protectors of the Mighty Fort.... Wanderers of the Yaverlands..

Now Reunited..., In 90 mph winds, exposed on the ancient chalk rifts. The Dj's of old... Experiences of many, huddle together around the Vestax Altar chanting the words of the wise Peel.

With one mighty stroke, the catalyst starts and roars into the unforgiving night, calling forth the aid of the pirate goddess... VERONICA, The sacrificial crows nest suddenly comes to life. As the static fell and the rhythmic heart beat of music pulsed all around. It became apparent.. Dex Fm was Born

Dex FM is a non-profit organization run by dedicated Dj's, We offer new talent an opportunity to show case what they can do, live on air, to thousands of listeners. We give all styles of music an opportunity; we also embrace anything different and new, holding true to the ethos of the late great John Peel, Who we all owe so much. 2008 was a fun year for the Dex FM team, coupled with a lot of hard work and commitment, we have moved from strength to strength and have listened and learnt through the aid of the dedicated Dex FM crew, it supporters and listeners, we are confident this extended period of testing has prepared us for our imminent launch

2008 We teamed up with Cool Fm and syndicate radio for alternative live shows from London and the Midlands. Our DJ scouts are now also working with Dj-mixes.com sourcing fresh styles, new tracks and unheard talent.

2009 We joined Forced with Overload and for the first time in History, Dex Fm sent and audio signal from Spit bank Fort in the solent across the world. We also brought our listeners live streams of Contact @ South parade pier and the Contact record launch party to our listener Live.

2010 Dex fm will be bringing you more Live events from across the mainland with Big name Dj's plus hosting our own events on the Isle of Wight. To the end of 2009 Dex Fm set the standard of clubbing on the island and we plan to take the islands clubbing experience to a whole new level during 2010

As the sun sets upon the rock that time forgot, and the shadows cease to stir... The static fades... And the Dex Fm pirates come out to play.
